Regular Members
Any proprietorship, partnership or corporation that regularly publishes a printed Yellow Pages directory and distributes it primarily within
the Asian region without charge to the public in the area served by the directory is eligible to become a Regular Member of the Association. In order to qualify
as a Regular Member, said entity must have published a yellow pages directory annually for a minimum period of three years. Publishers who fail to qualify for
membership under this classification may be included as Associated Members until such time that, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, they qualify as a
Regular Member. Regular Members are entitled to one vote per member and may be elected to any position in the Board of Trustees.
Associate Members
Any proprietorship, Partnership or corporation that regularly publishes an official printed Yellow Pages directory distributed primarily
outside the Asian region but with a business relevance to the Asian region is eligible to become an Associate Member of the Association. Any proprietorship,
partnership or corporation that does not yet qualify as a Regular Member under the criteria mentioned in the preceding section shall likewise be eligible to
become an Associate Member. Associate Members are entitled to elect one principal representative to the Board of trustees who shall have one vote regardless of
the number of Associate members he represents, Associate Members may be elected as Officers of the Association but may not be elected to the position of President.
Affiliate Members
The following are the characteristics of the Affiliate Member:
- It must be a vendor or supplier, actual or potential, of any ADPAI member country;
- It has no voting rights whatsoever in any ADPAI matter;
- It may not attend ADPAI meetings and/or conferences;
- It shale not be entitled to make any presentations at conferences and/or meetings of ADPAI, unless it is so permitted by the ADPAI Board of Trustees;
- It's status as an Affiliate may be revoked at any time by a vote of at least four (4) members of the Board of Trustees;
- It is non-exclusive, hence, the competitors of an Affiliate may also be Affiliates; and
- It shall be subject to such restrictions as the ADPAI Board of Trustees may impose from time to time.
Lifetime Members
Lifetime Membership shall be awarded to individuals that were instrumental in the formation of ADPAI. This membership does not extend to the
entities they represent. Lifetime Members shall enjoy all benefits of an ADPAI member but shall not be assessed dues and shall not be eligible for election of
either as a trustee or officer of ADPAI. To continue being a Lifetime Member, the individuals shall not be directory publishers or employed by directory publishers.
